“ Nobody plants a tree without hope”

Samaritans Forest of Hope

What began as a beautiful sentiment has grown to become an important new initiative. One that helps keep our phone lines open for people struggling to cope. Supported by Coillte and the Tree Council of Ireland, a tree will be planted in Dublin Samaritans’ Forest of Hope for everyone who becomes a Friend of Dublin Samaritans.

Membership would make the perfect gift for friends, family, or your corporate clients.

Let's grow a forest of hope together.

Coillte and Tree Council of Ireland

Without the generosity and expertise of our partners, Coillte and the Tree Council of Ireland, our ‘Forest of Hope’ would not be possible.

Their commitment to Dublin Samaritans, and our mission to provide emotional support to anyone feeling overwhelmed, has seen Coillte providing 1,000 trees so far. Trees that you can donate so that few people die by suicide. When these trees are planted with Coillte’s guidance, they will grow and protect nature; and contribute to how we tackle climate change for years to come. So through your donation and their support, hope will become sustainable in the lives of those who need us; and for all who share our environment.

Every tree planted is another call answered

Become a Friend of Dublin Samaritans and Coillte will plant a tree in your name at our Forest of Hope. Your gift keeps our free helpline service alive – bringing hope to those who need us most.
