Dublin Samaritans celebrate 55 years of Listening

In our first year (1970 - 1971), we received over 1,000 contacts. Last year alone, our Dublin branch answered nearly 90,000 calls and emails. Despite the many changes with technology and appearance over the years, the essence of our service remains unchanged. We listen. We explore emotions. We provide a safe, non-judgmental space for those who need to talk. Since our founding, we have received millions of calls, and countless individuals have stepped forward to volunteer their time.

For as long as we are needed, we will be there.
